A larger, tactile cup for coffee or tea

This 250 ml wheel-thrown stoneware mug is the taller companion to the rustic cup in the SILT collection. Hand-applied iron oxide slip leaves a rough, finger-worked surface; a stainless-steel wire band is fitted by hand after firing.

Stoneware, iron oxide slip, clear food-safe interior glaze and a hand-fitted stainless-steel wire band.

• Wheel-thrown and fired to 1240°C

Use and care

• Hand washing is recommended to preserve the wire finish.
• The stoneware and wire may feel warm with hot drinks.

The larger form makes the texture left by the maker's fingers especially visible.
