Handleless Yunomi Cup, Handmade Stoneware, Iron Oxide & Terra Rosa, 200 ml

This one-of-a-kind handleless Yunomi stoneware cup is wheel-thrown in Berlin and finished with a specific wash of iron oxide and terra rosa, a natural pigment collected on a journey rather than bought from a supplier.

The exact shade comes from a particular clay and oxide mix. Small pits in the surface are traces of grog revealed while trimming, left visible rather than smoothed away. The cup is glazed almost entirely; only the rounded foot remains bare where the piece meets the table.
